As I am starting this post kevin ogletree is scoring his second td of the night. It looks like romo is favoring this guy big time. Austin has done really nothing and witten is clearly still not 100 percent. Is this a one hit wonder or can he be the laurent robinson of this year?

I think he is benefitting largely from the Giants coverage tonight. He's an afterthought most games from here on out if the other three targets are healthy.

Remember Laurent Robinson? I believe he is playing the same role this year. He might be inconsistent because he has been in the league 4 years but id say he looks good so far. The Gmen are hurt in the secondary right now so dont give up the farm

This is how I feel about it. There is not enough football to go around in that offense. He will be a gamble every week.

Thought I would add that the Gian'ts CB crew was pretty banged up tonight.

I like Ogletree. Bryant and Austin I think will continue to get over looked by defenses leaving Ogletree with more opportunity

I dropped a bench player and picked him up on waiver this morning. My goal, trade him for a different RB or WR before the rest of my leauge figures out last night is going to be a every game performance.

Cowboys WR Kevin Ogletree caught eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in Wednesday night's Week 1 win over the Giants.

Ogletree capitalized on favorable coverage looks from a Giants defense more concerned with Dez Bryant and Miles Austin en route to a career game. (Ogletree had never scored a touchdown in 31 career games before this one.) Ogletree's 11 targets paced the Cowboys, and he should be locked into the third receiver role moving forward. Dwayne Harris, Cole Beasley, and Andre Holmes were nowhere to be seen on Wednesday night. We'd tap the breaks a bit on the "new Laurent Robinson talk," but Ogletree can certainly maintain a prominent role in Dallas' offense if he continues to perform like this.

I completely disagee with the above statement.

IMO he's the best parts of Jerry Rice, Steve Largent, and Randy Moss all rolled into one.

Don't get me wrong, he could fill the Laurent Robinson role but this guy has been in the league 4 years and finally had a solid game, I'm not sold. If he produces again in week 2 I may stop to think but it still wouldn't be enough for me to use my waive priority or FAAB money.
