danleroi22's Roster

Postby danleroi22 » Thu Sep 06, 2012 7:01 am

Hello!

Been a while since I played (4 seasons I think) and I recently drafted my team for this year:

Roster
QB: Tony Romo (Dal)*, Ryan Fitzpatrick (Buf)
RB: Ray Rice (Bal)*, DeMarco Murray (Dal)*, DeAngelo Williams (Car), Steven Jackson (StL)*, Mark Ingram (NO), Michael Bush (Chi)
WR: Greg Jennings (GB)*, Brandon Marshall (Chi)*, Antonio Brown (Pit), Anquan Boldin (Bal), Lance Moore (NO)
TE: Fred Davis (Wsh)*
Def: Bills (Buf)*
K: Alex Henery (Phi)*
*Denotes starting position.

Standard scoring, No PPR, Ten Teams. 1 Flex position which I usually like to reserve for RBs. Any suggestions for my roster? I'm currently looking at possibly grabbing Sanchez off the WW instead of Ryan Fitz.

Questions or Comments? PM me.

First impression: You are stacked at RB. Your flex will come from this group most weeks. Williams looks to me like the Panther back to own this year. Ray Rice is boss in Baltimore, the closest thing to a sure thing at RB this year. Murray looked good in his first outting. Steven Jackson is way undervalued this season, as Fischer loves to workhis primary runner (see Eddie George and Chris Johnson, for examples). Seeing your running backs makes me wonder what the rest of your league was doing.

I am also very high on Fred Davis. He would have been a top 5 TE last year if not for the suspension, and Cooley is gone now. Shanny will use boot actions a lot with RG3, and that should mean more looks to the tight end. Really good pick IMO, as long as he stays off the weed he is a stud.

WRs look good too. Jennings is a safe bet. Nice and consistent. Brown looks like a beast every time I see him play. Marshall seems to be in a good spot with his buddy Cutler.

Romo looks like your weak link, and even he looked good out of that gates against NY. Once his weapons are all healed up he could be even better. He chokes in the postseason, but he will be good in fantasy I think. He's no Rodgers or Brees, but with the rest of your roster you don't need him to be. He will be good enough.

I think you have a really good team here.

Any thoughts on my roster would be appreciated: viewtopic.php?t=518441
