Ok so my new dilemma this week, is who should I start at TE this week?
Greg Olsen or Fred Davis?
Olsen has looked good this preseason/camp and is supposedly going to get a lot more targets with Shockey out. Could be Cam's second option after Smith. Has a good matchup vs TB.
Davis has a lot of talent and is the un-questioned starter at TE. He hasn't had an amazing rapport with RG3 in the pre-season, but is one of the teams biggest threats in the passing game. Has a great matchup vs the Sanits D who give up a lot through the air, and Wash will likely have to air it out to try and keep up.
So who do you think makes the best start for week 1? PPR
As always leave links / questions and I'll always help out in return.
My other starters: Brady Welker/Austin(14 pts)/Garçon SJax/D.Martin ? Lions DST Henrey
I'd definitely go Fred Davis here. As good as Olsen looks upside-wise, Davis is arguably the most reliable receiver on his team going into a game where the Redskins will likely be passing quite a lot to keep up with the Saints.
Until I see Olsen perform up to his potential, I'm going with the guy with the history. Davis for me on opening weekend, but that may change further into the season as I agree with you on Olsen and Cam hooking up more this year. GL
Davis. Wait to see what develops between CAR OC, Newton and Olsen. Promises to be interesting. Fred Davis is a top 5 TE at the end of the season IMO...
Ty for your help. I'd go with Davis. I think the Buccs are going to have a better defense this year and thus more trouble for olsen this week. Agreeing with everyone else as well that davis is the safer bet and i generally prefer the safer bets for fantasy football.
