Sproles or Doug Martin

.5 PPR league so i expect sproles to get 2-3 more points because of it which makes the desicion very very hard.

I need a lot of different opinions/responses

Thanks for your feedback, not sure how much help I'll be here, as this a tough one. It is a close call IMO.

Sproles is usually money in PPR leagues, so he might be the safer bet, especially at home against a suspect 'skins defense.

My gut says to go with Martin though, as he is facing a Panthers defense that struggled against the run badly last season. This might be the riskier play inasmuch as Martin is more of an unknown commodity at this point, but I like him. If it helps, so does Fabiano (who has him listed as his start of the week at RB). I would provide a link to the article, but this website won't let me do that.

Go with your gut, I think you will be okay either way on this one.

Curious - who is your RB1, and do you have a flex spot? Because you've potentially got a serious trade asset in either Martin or Sproles in a PPR league. If you can't start all three RB's, you might look at a trade after a couple weeks, so I'd be hoping Martin lives up to the hype. Good luck!

I'm in a similar situation (but full pt PPR) I have Sproles starting over Martin. I just think Sproles upside is much larger than a rookie RB and even though he's been given the 1st job I think LaGarrett will also get his touches but those will wane as the season goes on.

But continue to monitor Sproles, he had a minor knee injury earlier this week but I think he'll start

Well said. I gotta agree. It is a tough choice but I would lean towards Martin vs Panthers D

Thanks guys and yea my other 2 RB's are steven jackson and jamaal charles and i cant bench them. I had a great draft so if martin becomes the real deal ill probably trade him and/or sproles for a big RB

I don't start him over Sproles.
