I ended up starting Nicks for one WR spot and Manning at QB. That was a crap decision, but hard to have foreseen.
Comparing players at each position against my H2H opponent, i'm in a huge disadvantage at QB (he has Stafford) and maybe on WR. Depends how you look at it. He has Steve Johnson and Welker. I'm starting Harvin as my other WR.
I do, however, have Graham and he started Witten who only got 3 pts.
Anyway, i'm wondering who to start at flex. I had decided to start Martin before the Giants/Cowboys game, but now i'm not so sure after seeing Nicks suck.
Do i go with an unproven rookie, who is projected to be great in PPR? Again got a nice reminder of how much projections suck. Or do i choose Charles who definitely has the ability to be a stud, but also might not be fully recovered Ooooor do i go with Nelson who might be Rodgers' favorite target. It's against an elite defense, but wasn't it mostly run defense they were elite at?
I still think i'm (on paper) the clear cut favorite to win this H2H, so don't need a miracle player - just some sure good points.
=> Which is why i'm now tilting towards Charles and Nelson instead???
Please help and i'll help with yours

QBs: Brady RBs: Foster, Charles, D. Martin, Murray WRs: J. Nelson, Fitzgerald, Bowe, Nicks, T.Y. Hilton, M. Williams TEs: Graham, Hernandez K: S. Graham DEF: Texans
IMO i can see Martin can have more than 2 TDs + yards; but Charles cannot have more than 15pts because of Hillis. Now GB with top Def Team and ball can go to Nelson or Greg Jennings, but Harvin is top one in Min, so toss your coin. I will choose Harvin at home.
I'll definitely go with Harvin at my second WR spot then.
So if we rule out Charles for this week, it's Nelson vs Martin for my flex spot.
Do you think Martin has higher upside than Nelson (again, this week) and about same downside?

Yeah, guess Nelson is the proven almost-stud (stud last year for sure), and Martin has yet to play a real NFL game.
Anyone else voting for Nelson over Martin?

I would play Charles here. KC will be playing from behind so Hillis will not be on the field much. Charles looked explosive once again in preseason and will not only get carries but will probably have between 5-10 receptions. Everytime the dude touches the ball it could go to the house. Crennel has already stated that he will use Charles "as much as it takes to win this game".

Go with your gut, I think you will be okay either way on this one. For safety you can choose Nelson, Harvin because Martin is rookie. I will choose RB Martin Vs Car Def.
