WR Help Steve Johnson WHIR

Postby derekbaldwin » Fri Sep 07, 2012 1:21 pm

Hey Everyone,

14 team (.5PPR) league. Stevie's (@NYJ) groin injury is really starting to spook me. My only wide receivers I could start for him are Titus Young (vs STL) and Michael Crabtree (@ GB).

Should I stick with Stevie or perhaps give a spot start to Young or Crabtree?

I think Young is a sneaky start this week.

Steve Johnson bad groin vs. Revis..hmmm (and yes I'm aware he preforms very well when he visits Revis Island...when healthy)

Aw hell, who am I kidding, I wouldn't have the Kahonas to start Young over Johnson myself.

I feel you both... it's a big ballsy call. And I also feel like the Lions will destroy the Rams, so lots of running the ball. I just have this itching feeling that Stafford will connect with Young once...

Haha damnit!

I'd go with Young. Megatron can't catch every ball. And Detroit should be able to light up the Rams.

Help with mine please

I think Youngs the better start.

He's healthy, has a great matchup and should see 1-1 coverage all game long.

Id take that over a guy with a bad groin trying to go toe 2 toe with the best corner in the league.

Yeah, I would go with Titus. Steve is in for a long day, I would suspect. Titus may be Sunday's Ogletree. Much higher upside, IMO, and baseline is probably about the same.

I'd take the risk and play Titus.

Now im hearing Beanie Wells could split some serious time with Ryan Williams for Sundays matchup against the Seahawks. I still think Titus Young would be a better play at my FLEX position than Williams?

I'd start Young... Johnson is banged up, & up against Revis? Not good 8-o .

Help?
