I read lynch struggled at the cards both games last season, so im wondering, even if they decide to bench lynch and not split carries to lighten lynchs load, if it would be worth playing turbin?
Michael bush has the better matchup against the colts, and ifeel like even if he's splitting with forte he has a better chance of production than lynch or turbin this week, especially if they split carries
To recap, i see this situation as having three possibilities:
1) Lynch is benched: i play robert turbin even though in the two meetings the seahawks had with arizona last year lynch struggled against their defense.
2) Lynch plays: i risk playing either him or turbin, because if lynch is hurt they will probably split the backfield between him and turbin. My choice is to either roll the dice and play one or the other, or i go with my backup, michael bush, playing a weak run defense in the colts, and hope for a short yardage touchdown.
3) Lynch is benched: i play michael bush over turpin because turbin will face a rough defense andbush has the better matchup and likely short yardage oppurtunities.
just check a couple minutes before the game, line up dont usually lock till 5 min before game starts... but if u cant i would still play the seahawk rb that is starting, bush is forsure splitting carries with forte, so i see watever rb the seahawks roll with to have the higher chance to get a td
If Robert Turbin starts, I'd go with him. Seattle is a run first team in a game they're bound to get ahead in. If Marshawn Lynch is a no go, he's a safe bet for 20 touches.
But if Lynch does go, I'd go with Michael Bush actually. Lynch is unlikely to get a lot of work, especially if the Seahawks get far ahead, but will do enough damage to limit Turbin's upside. While Bush probably won't get more than 8-10 touches. at least his role as a goal line back is defined.
In any case, I wouldn't start Marshawn. The Seattle/Arizona game would have to be awfully competitive for me to envision him getting many more than a dozen touches. While he could do some damage early, his upside to have a huge game is limited.
Either Sea RB is better than Bush imo. With Lynch's back I don't know if I would rather see him start (what if he has more spasms?) or sit (backup is the man) Either way, I prefer it to a goal line back in Chi....
