Week 1 FLEX Help PPR/WHIR

Postby BigRippy » Fri Sep 07, 2012 7:26 pm

A. Boldin, P. Thomas, or D. Keller. Keller has the best defensive matchup IMO. Does the Jets lack of deep passing help his case? Saints are a powerhouse and Thomas is always good for a 2-4 catches.

QB: E. Manning, J. Cutler WR: R. White, P. Harvin, M. Colston, A. Boldin, L. Robinson, N. Burleson RB: R. Rice, A. Bradshaw, M. Jones-Drew, P. Thomas, R. Mendenhall TE: T. Gonzalez. D. Keller

Boldin is getting long in the tooth and is not as fast as he once was, plus I am never sure what Flaco is going to do. He could pass for 300+ or barely hit 150. Decker has a nobody throwing to him, and like or not, Ryan will have to play "I can't pass but I can run" Tebow. So his targets should be limited. Too bad he isn't on a better team. He is a pretty good TE. That leave Pierre. The Saints open with a practice game, and Pierre will get lots of touches.

I would go with P Thomas.

In a PPR league, I'd go Boldin.

He's older sure, but he's still a big savvy possession receiver. With Torrey Smith a must cover deep threat in the game, I think Boldin could do some damage between the 20's.

Thomas splits carries with Sproles and Ingram (GL back).
In a pass happy offense, I just wouldn't trust a 3rd RB.

Tough one. But I think I'd go with Boldin. Normally with a rb, wr, and te I'd go with the rb, but there's just no telling who's gonna get the touches with the Saints. And I think the extra attention on T. Smith could free up Boldin.

Help with mine please
