well, my league came up with their first tie of the season this week. 72.96 a piece and i was involved. it'll throw a wrench in the playoff picture but oh well.

hey, just wondering how many people have been involved in ties this season. seems like a pain. you spend all week hustling around trying to field the best team and you...tie?! i guess i am lucky though. he started hasselbeck over garcia. oops...i guess that goes in the "goofs of week 14" thread.

Worst thing about ties (or really close games) is worrying whether or not an upcoming scoring change will change the result.

My league has had 5 of them this year! Going into this week I was the #3 team with 4 of 12 going to the playoffs. The #4 and #5 teams played each other so I figured even if I lost I would still be in fourth since one of them would lose as well....not!!! I lost and they tied! Now I'm in 5th and on the outside looking in. I have to win and hope either of them lose or tie this week for me to get to the promised land.

:-o
That's my two cents and it's worth every penny of it!

I was involved in one that probably cost me the playoffs....instead I'm in the 'consolation' playoffs. I wish yahoo would go to decimal amounts.

My league doesn't have ties. The win goes to the team with a better bench score.

This has happened twice. We don't have fractional scoring though.

Uhhhhhh...........Yahoo does have fractional scoring. I guess you have to play in a Private league to use decimals though. I only play private anyway...

Enough whining. My turn. :) I'm the points leader with 1,100 points in my stupid yahoo default setting league.

Well guess what. I'm in 6th place out of 10. The closest in points is at 970 and he's in first place. The closest after that is a mear 870 points and he's in 2nd place.. lol geez.. what a lucky S.O.B.

It's worse. 3rd place is a paltry 749 points, and he's gonna be in the playoffs instead of me??!! wow! How did this happen??!!

I played every single team practically this year when THAT team has there best week of the season .. ofcourse, against me. What fuggin luck!!
I've never had a more un-lucky FF year EVER!!

Yeah, decimal scoring in private leagues only. Severely decreases the chances of a tie.
