Brandon Lloyd or Stevie Johnson WHIR

I'm stuck on what to do with my WR3 situation. I have Marques Colston and Jordy Nelson as 1 and 2. So Stevie Johnson or Brandon Lloyd I know Stevie will play through his groin problem but he's also facing revis. Brandon Lloyd didnt show much in preseason though and he makes me nervous. I'm sure a lot of people got screwed by the promise of chad johnson with the pats last year and I hope Lloyd wont be the same.

Id go Lloyd for sure.

McDaniels knows how to use Lloyd. He will call his number and I like his chances of making a play with Brady delivering the ball and likely facing 1 on 1 coverages with the likes of welker gronkowski n Hernandez commanding attention.

Stevie Johnson facing Revis is a big issue, and I'd be more concerned about that than his groin problems. He will probably play, but I just don't see him being very effective.

I would not let Brandon Lloyd's preseason have any sway on your decision at all. Belichick is known for hiding talent and various schemes in the preseason.

Gronkowski had 1 catch for 7 yards in all of the 2011 preseason.

In 2007 Randy Moss had 1 catch for 9 yards for all of the preseason before going 1500 yds/23 tds in the regular season.

McDaniels and Belichick already know what they have in Lloyd. They aren't going to give any hints in the preseason. Start him.
