RB2 Help. Hillis or P Thomas - WHIR

I have a pretty strong team but weak at RB2 until Ryan Mathews returns. PPR league

My RB2 options are:

Peyton Hillis vs Atlanta - he has been named "co-starter" with J Charles

Pierre Thomas vs Washington - so many options for the Saints.

ESPN has Peyton projected for 4 points and Pierre Thomas for 13, but the (standard) rankings has Hillis as 29 and Thomas as 41.

I also have CJ Spiller (BUF), Taiwan Jones (OAK), Dexter McCluster (KC) but I see these as fliers right now and think the two options above are the best options.

i like hillis here.
although he is splitting carries, he is getting 50% of them plus goallines. he also looked really explosive in preseason. just like his chances to rack up yards and a score here.

Thomas could blow up but its a gamble. you have sproles, ingram, thomas, walter payton, barry sanders, and your mom in that backfield....just too many rb's for me to take a gamble there over hillis.

Hillis for sure.

More carries, GL work if needed and in a run first offense.

Agreed, HILLIS! He'll get goal line plays along with splitting touches. With Thomas, there's too many options on that squad. He'll get touches, but not much...

I think this a lot closer than I would like, but I think in a standard league you have to stick with Hillis. The GL carries will be higher and near guaranteed.

I think you have to go hillis here. I like his long term potential, and I think you are going to be very happy having him as a flex once Mathews is back! I don't have much love for Pierre. I'm not sure what he really brings to the table that sproles or Ingram don't do better. 3rd rb option on a pass first team. No thanks. Especially with the news of hillis being co-starter.

We quickly forget that hillis big year he wasn't a one man show. And Charles big year, Thomas jones had tons of carries. This is win/win for hillis and Charles.

Another vote for Hillis. I have Pierre Thomas too and I think he's a riskier start.
