QB HELP... Big Ben or Palmer? WHIR!!!

Postby allando » Sat Sep 08, 2012 12:14 pm

I know, I know, not the most desirable QB's to have on your squad. But I'm playing in a 16 team league & invested my early picks on RB's & WR's.

Should I go with Ben Roethlisberger? Bad matchup with the Broncos defense, but I have a feeling he might air it out in this game & when he's on, he's ON!!!

Or Carson Palmer? Big stage, Monday Night Football. History against the Chargers shows that he put up big numbers in this matchup, but his receiving core is banged up & he's a turnover freak!

I'm leaning on Palmer, but I'd like to see what y'all think? Thanks!!! ;-D

I'd go with Big Ben.

Palmer can be such an interception machine. I'd rather have Ben, who likely won't light it up, but will give you 250 and a score or 2.

Thanks for tyhe help with mine.

I had Carson as a dark horse this preseason but he didn't show me much in limited preseason play. Maybe later but for now I think they rely on the running game as McFadden looked like a stud and T Jones will be a a nice up and comer.

I'd go with Big Ben.

I've gotta go with Ben also. I'd wait on Palmer a little to see how he starts. Plus you'll get to enjoy, or be nervous about, the Sunday night game a little more.

Carson is such a risky play... I see the raiders running the ball a lot too especially since McFadden is healthy. Have to go with big Ben for week 1...

Going forward it'll start to become a little easier after you see both of them for a few weeks.

Thanks for the help... That's what I was thinking too even though I really like Palmer in this one. I have a tendency to choose upside rather than "safe" picks lol. My concern with Big Ben is his O-line & can his WR's handle Denver's secondary?
