Ryan Mathews out - B. Wells or R. Brown to Cover?

Postby goodviking » Sat Sep 08, 2012 12:29 pm

With Ryan Mathews out, I have to cover his spot with one of my backups: Beanie Wells, or Ronnie Brown. I am meh about Wells, but unsure how Brown and the San Diego running game in general will play into their total offense. At least looking at last years stats, San Diego had far more attempts and was general more effective in the running game, but the showed little interest or intent in the running game in the preseason. Wells on the other hand has the hamstring issues, and has Williams pressing him in the running game. I'd appreciate your insight.

I prefer Brown. I think Wells loses touches to Williams and he has a tough matchup.

Ronnie Brown.

Wells is banged up and will lose touches if he decides to try and play anyways.
