Tate as my RB2/Flex?

Postby Pitfan2782 » Sat Sep 08, 2012 1:06 pm

I'm in a 10-Team PPR league with 2 keepers. I kept Foster, and I drafted Tate as a handcuff. With Foster being a game-time decision, and the fact that they play he lowly Dolphins, do I start Tate over Foster even if Foster starts? I'd like to think that they would reduce Foster's workload this week, and rely on Tate more, but I'm not sure.

Here's option 2: I have Antonio Brown as my flex right now. I could start both Foster AND Tate, and cover myself if Foster gets pulled early or gets re-injured outright. My only problem with this is the fact that I believe Brown will be 1a to Wallace's 1b. 7 receptions, 100 yards, and a score is not out of the question this week for Brown. Thoughts?

Here's my starting roster in case it helps:

QB: Ben Roethlisberger
RB1: Arian Foster (k)
RB2: LeSean McCoy (k)
WR1: Brandon Marshall
WR2: A.J. Green
Flex: Antonio Brown
TE: Antonion Gates
K: Matt Prater
D: Seattle

IMHO... I would start Tate... Foster may be a game-time decision, but I'm not feeling that Kubiak will give the majority of the carries to Foster, even if he plays because he can't afford the possibility of further injuring the "knee area". Tate is a 1000 yard rusher and the Texans have successfully leaned on him before. You could start both, but that could really hurt the overall. My 2 cents...

I'd play Foster or Tate, depending on Foster's status, and keep Brown at your flex regardless.

Help with mine?
