Kevin Smith or Stevan Ridley?

Postby Chibears » Sat Sep 08, 2012 1:22 pm

Hey guys and gals,

Non-PPR, point for every 10 rush or catch, 6 for TD,

RB2 is down to....

Stevan Ridley at Titans - Feel confident with him for no other reason than that he's a Patriot and BJGE had 11 rush TD's last year and I consider Ridley a better player.

Kevin Smith hosting Rams - Only RB in town in a high powered offense. That ankle twist last week seems to be a thing of the past. Rams D lacking.

Disregard lineup in sig....that's from stacked 6 team league... :)

Thoughts? As always, leave a link if interested in my humble opinion and thanks ahead of time! ;-D
QB - Drew Brees
RB - Arian Foster, Ryan Mathews, Trent Richardson, Stevan Ridley, Mikel Leshoure
WR - Julio Jones, A J Green, Dez Bryant, Demaryius Thomas, Kenny Britt
TE - Jimmy Graham
K - Blair Walsh

I would go with Ridley in on-PPR. He is a better red-zone option.

I am actually starting both these guys this week!! I would say in a non-ppr I would go with Ridley and probably would in a PPR as well ;-D

Smith gets injured every year. He's good but soft & they didn't even look his way all preseason. Ridley is the starter, not to mention Vareen is not playing so he's gonna get a full work load. Def Ridley & don't look back.

I would go Smith. I know its not the popular pick, but Smith should have a huge week. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hernandez get some looks at rb for the patriots.

Smith if it was PPR or non-PPR.

He just has a good chance to score on the ground or in the air and there are no other RBs to steal many carries.

Ridley i believe could have a good game, but bellichick does scare me in that they may just pass all game or could run all game, you really never know.

a little bit more than a slight edge for smith over ridley.
