TRADE HELP

Postby NYSportsFan86 » Mon Sep 10, 2012 12:00 pm

Received a trade proposal....I give up Brees and Forte and receive Aaron Rodgers, Steven Jackson, and Kevin Smith in return. Any thoughts on whether I accept or decline this....other players I have include:

ESPN PPR league/head to head
other roster members=
RB-Green-Ellis, Benson, wells, redman
TE-Gates, Finley
WR-Nicks, V. Jackson, Boldin, Heyward-Bey, R.Cobb, J.Jones

Any thoughts on this trade anyone??? I feel like I'm losing the best RB, but it would somehow be acceptable since I have limited depth at the position and Smith could be a potential flex starter

I would go ahead with this trade. Rodgers and Brees are a wash, and though you are losing out at the RB spot, you can actually use Jackson and Smith in a package deal for another top tier back. RBs are at a premium right now, so if maybe a Foster, McCoy, Rice, or MJD owner is hurting for RBs, you can offer that trade.

That's what I was thinking...that I could package them later if need be. I know I lose forte, but my concern is whether green-Ellis' new England success can carry over to a far less offensively proficient Cincinnati team. So I figure getting 2 solid backs is better than one top notch back.
