trading for a QB and elite RB

Postby introspect » Mon Sep 10, 2012 1:08 pm

10 team, standard yahoo league. Non PPR.

I have some depth so I want to make a few trade offers:

1) I want to get a better QB and I'm looking at Matt Ryan and RGIII. I want to dangle Reggie Bush and see if either owner is interested. Matt Ryan owner starts Cam Newton and needs help at RB, RGIII owner starts Rodgers and also needs help at RB.

2) I also want to make a play for Adrian Peterson and was thinking of offering S.Ridley+Lloyd. AP owner is from Boston and a Pats fan.

Thougts?

my team:
QB: Romo || Locker
RB: Foster, D. Murray || R. Bush, S. Ridley, Mendenhall
WR: Jones, Harvin, Lloyd || D. Thomas, Young, Collie
Flex: K.Smith
TE: Rudolph
K: Akers
DEF: DET

I don't know how reliable Romo will be through the season. I've seen him come through and disappear. I guess I'm looking for consistency.

Well if you are really down on Romo then you should trade him. He played some of the best football of his career and you could cut a deal I'm sure.

I don't mind keeping Romo, I like him but I am not content with Locker as a back-up should anything happen to Romo.

That's where my concern lies in my QB position, is that I don't think I have a legit back up QB.
