RB Hoarder Needs Help: Spiller, Law Firm, Murray, A. Morris?

Postby gatorman1122 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 7:20 am

I have 6 RBs on my roster for week 2, but I'm currently leaning on these 4 RBs. I can start 3 RBs...who do I leave out?

A. Morris (WAS) @ STL
B. Green-Ellis (CIN) vs CLE
D. Murray (DAL) @ SEA
CJ Spiller (BUF) vs KC

BN: S. Greene (@PIT), K. Smith (@SF).

Thanks for your help!

As good as Morris was in week 1, my pick would be to sit him. The only reason is because of Shanny. Helu or Royster, or someone else could get 90% of the carries next week. There's just to much unknown in WAS for my liking. CLE can get gashed by the run, Murray was solid with 130+ rushing yards last week (just needed a score), and with Fred Jackson out, CJ Spiller is a great play going forward.

Morris is starter week 2 vs the rams. A very poor rush defense. I'd sit the law firm vs Cleveland stout run defense.

Thanks for your help on mine.

Holy smokes are you stacked at RB! I shudder to think how thin you are at other positions given what those guys likely cost you. First and foremost I advise you to trade some of that value for a quality starter elsewhere, since you just cannot start all these guys. (I imagine whoever owns Fred Jackson in your league would give you a good player in return for Spiller).

Spiller and Murray I start for sure, given their strong showings in week 1.

Between Green-Ellis and AlMo I think it is pretty close. Its so close I would say play the matchups, but I might lean towards Green-Ellis simply b/c Shanny can be unpredictable with his running backs, and the 'skins are more of a passing offense than the Bengals.
QB: R Griffin III, A Luck
RB: A Foster, F Gore, T Richardson, K Hunter, M Hardesty, A Green
WR: V Cruz, M Austin, P Garcon, S Moss, B Hartline
TE: J Witten
K: Matt Bryant
D: ATL.
