I have the following RBs: Rice, Richardson, M. Bush, Spiller, & McGahee.
I wondering if I should drop McGahee for either:
Morris - Washington will need him more than Denver will need McGahee Hill - Another strong WR (Britt and Jennings are out) M. Lewis - Houston is playing Jacksonville
This is a tough one but considering your WRs I would go with Hill before anyone. However, they are going against the Steelers which might cause a huge problem for Sanchez. If I was you I would probably just stay put for the time being. I do like Morris and I am going to try to pick him up for my team so if you want to strengthen your RB core he would be a great pickup. He has already been named the starter and you might be able to trade him for a decent WR right away. I'm a Rams fan and our run D is really weak. Good luck and thanks for your help
QB- P. Manning RB- LeSean McCoy, Ryan Mathews WR- Wes Welker, Larry Fitzgerald TE- Kyle Rudolph W/R- Run DMC B- Donald Brown (RB), Anquan Boldin (RB), Aaron Hernandez, Jason Witten, Josh Gordon, Vick Ballard K- G. Zurline Def- NYG
I would be comfortable dropping McGahee in your situation, you have a lot of good depth at RB, but I can't help but wonder if you would do better trading him for a WR upgrade instead.
Don't be fooled here by Morris, this is still a Shannahan backfield. The only reason I would suggest picking him up would be if you know you can flip him immediately for a better WR than Stephen Hill.
My advice would be to shop McGahee, or perhaps Spiller, around for an upgrade at WR before just dropping someone for the flavor of week 1.
Keep McGahee. He is a strter that gets the majority of the carries in Denver. Those are hard to come by.
