Waiver Wire Question? Alfred Morris/Stephen Hill

Postby jeloman » Tue Sep 11, 2012 2:09 pm

Thinking about dropping Ryan Williams for either of these guys. I have the #1 waiver so I can choose any player I like. I like William's upside but Week 1 was disappointing.

Standard League. 1QB 3WR 2 RB 1TE 1K 1DEF

My Team:
Cam Newton QB
Jay Cutler QB
Chris Johnson RB
Trent Richardson RB
Darren Sproles RB
Stevan Ridley RB
Ryan Williams RB
Jeremy Maclin WR
Dez Bryan WR
Nate Washington WR
Jimmy Graham TE
Jacob Tamme TE
Stephen Gostkowski K
Philadelphia DEF
Torrey Smith WR

You have 5 RBs in a 2-RB format with no Flex player. If you're not starting Ryan Williams (which, you don't need to with your RB choices) you can afford to get rid of him. I'd go for Stephen Hill just to balance out your WR options. Morris, though he had a great week 1, is no guarantee long term, with Shanahan coaching.

What do you think of my choice?

I think the question is more of Stephen hill or Kevin Ogletree (if he is availabale) Or Randal cobb

But yes i agree in droping Ryan Williams for a WR you def need more depth there.
