Alfred Morris OR Waiver Wire Priority

Postby sailorman2439 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 3:12 pm

I'm in a 10-team .5 ppr league with the following team:

QB: Matt Ryan
RB1: Matt Forte
RB2: Darren Sproles
WR1: Roddy White
WR2: Jordy Nelson
WR3: Torrey Smith
TE1: Rob Gronkowski
Flex1: CJ Spiller
Flex2: Randall Cobb
Kicker: Dan Bailey
Defense: NYJ
Bench: Randy Moss
Bench: Robert Meachem
Bench: Malcom Floyd
Bench: Pierre Thomas
Bench: Donald Brown
Bench: Santonio Holmes

Since I had the last pick in the draft, I have #1 waiver priority. I think I am weakest at the WR3 position with Smith and long-term at the Flex1 position with Spiller once Jackson is back. I would also like to trade Forte for an RB as Bush is taking his red zone carries. My question is, do I burn my waiver wire priority on Alfred Morris, a guy that may not have long term value? Or do I save it for Week 2 and 3 when some better sleepers may slip out of the woodwork? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I like burning the #1 waiver early simply because many other owners are burning theirs early on putting you further up the list for another pickup.

Add value to your team now IMO.
