WR2 Help: Garcon or Bowe?

Hello everyone,

Who should I start for WR2:

Garcon (WAS) @ STL
Bowe (KC) @ BUF

WR1 is Victor Cruz (vs TB) and I also have J. Blackmon and Dexter McCluster on my bench. Both Garcon and Bowe are playing against soft defenses. I can't bring myself to bench Cruz.

Injury report comes out tomorrow, I'd see what the status on Garcon is before starting him. If he's 100% and a go, I like him over Bowe. You really can't go wrong with either guy. If Mark Sanchez can pass all over Buffalo, I'm sure Cassell with a better supporting cast can do the same, so if Garcon is questionable at all, youll be safe with Bowe.

I agree, check the injury report. Garcon is supposed to be okay and I'd start him over bowe, but if he's limited that might change. I kinda like McCluster over bowe as well, I don't think cassel has the best arm and I think McCluster will see more targets again this week.

I am a little worried about Garcons ankle. I would probably go with Bowe

I like Garcon a lot this year, for several reasons.

Most obviously, he had 100 yards and a TD in only 1 quarter of play last week (before leaving with an injury). He is clearly RG3s number one target and will get a lot of looks in a pass-heavy offense. Garcon is also a good YAC guy.

Consider what inferior players like Jabar Gaffney (1k yards in 2011) and Anthony Armstrong (1k yards in 2010) did in Washington's offense with inferior QB play (McNabb, Grossman, Beck). Shanny obviously uses his #1 WR heavily. Also, Shanny passes a lot nowadays in general (the 'skins were top 5 in passing attempts in both 2010 and 2011). Garcon is much better than Gaffney or Armstrong, and RG3 is much better than Donovan BeckGrossman. Considering all this, you simply must predict big things for Garcon.

Also, Washington passes way more than KC, and Garcon is the superior talent to Bowe at this point in their respective careers. Garcon is younger and has way more upside. With Bowe you know what you get, a steady producer, but also an underachiever.

As a 'skins fan who knows Shanny's tendencies, I'm very high on Garcon this year. The only caveat I would give is to keep an eye on his injury status. It does not appear to be too serious, MRI was negative, but it is something you should watch just in case. If Garcon is good to go this week I would start him without hesitation.

I agree with the above, check the injury report, if he isnt good to go, put Bowe in

If Garcon is playing, start him.

if not, well im sure you know....go with Bowe.

Add another vote for Garcon if he's healthy enough to play. RG3 loves to get him the ball and he should have no problem getting open.
