i wouldnt do that trade. too much competition for receptions in new engalnd and with ridleys potential playing behind a tom brady offense i think u can get more than welker

If Ridley really is the lead back in NE like he appears to be than I wouldn't make this trade. I agree with the above post you'll be able to get more for him. Also his presence may hurt Welker's value because they now won't have to rely on the short quick passes as much which is where Welker thrives.

Ridley has the tremendous upside of being the RB1 right now and Welker is effectively the patriots WR3. I'm not saying that Welker doesn't have good value but I'd take the one guaranteed to see the ball. Keep Ridley, I think he has the potential to become a monster complement to a great passing attack that Welker might get lost in.

Keep Ridley....I truly believe Welker is on the decline....especially since Ridley is emerging. Welkers receptions was Pats running game...no need for that if Ridley keeps running like he is right now.
