Any news on his status, will he play? and if so, can he be productive against TB?

From Yahoo Sports:
Dec 8 The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans RB Domanick Davis (quadriceps/ankle) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, Dec. 10, after missing the team's Week 14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars because of a quad and ankle injuries. He is should be available for Sunday's, Dec. 14, game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A decesion probably won't be public until Friday/Saturday.
Although, if he does play, he should be productive.
I'd guess 70+yds and a TD.

I think the Texans are tanking, especially with such a crappy QB starting for them...all the Bucs have to do is put 8 in the box. With injury concerns, I wouldn't play Davis this week

I have to strongly disagree with this - Texans have proven they are a worthy opponent this year and will be playing their superbowl verse the defending champs - start Davis with confidence as he has over 800 yards rushing on the year and WILL go over the 1000 yard mark this year. Tanking it . . . no. Playing hard . . . YES!

Considering TB shut down Duece last week and ended is 100yd game streak, I think they'll shut Dom down too.

- Houston's QB is injured and not as good as Brooks

- Duece is better than Dom

- Duece's line is better

Not a good triumvirate of factors...

Whatever... The rap all year long on the Bucs is that they can't stop the run, and they haven't. Stopping the run 1 game out of 14 is not reason enough to believe they will stop Davis. Tampa seems to lay down when playing teams not up to their par anyway(example Jax). He is just a good of start as half the backs in this league.

Aaron Brooks fumbling 4 times didn't hurt Duece at all right?
