Started trade talks with an owner who is hurting at rb. I want Jimmy Graham from him. He said he wants either M Lynch or D Martin for Jimmy Graham. If you were me would you do it? Rb's are at a premium in our 10 team league. Best ones still on the free agent wire that I might be able to pickup are probably Jacquizz Rodgers, J Dwyer, K Hunter. I like McGahee as a replacement if he can stay healthy (big if) and might start him over Lynch this week anyway.
1. If you were me would you do this? 2. Does it make my team better or would the lack of rb depth hurt too much? 3. If you would do it which rb should I hang on to?
Another factor i offered M Lynch and J Cutler to a different owner for A Rodgers. I haven't heard back- I doubt he'll take it but he's weak at rb too. He has a bradshaw and bj green ellis - his backups are Mendenhall, R Jennings, M Tolbert.
I would do this, and I would ship Lynch. I am much higher on Martin and you do have McGahee which I think will be fine, he looked good against the Steelers.
Side note you should be starting Cutler, and I would also hang onto Cutler, I think he will be good this year, he wont flat out win you games like Rodgers can, but he will provide enough points at the position to keep you competative.
I would do it and get rid of lynch too. I think he is overrated and his back will become an issue into the season. you have Willis to take his place. im for it.

Bench: Freeman M. Bush Murray Britt Antonio Brown Gresham Keller
While I like Lynch better than most...as I think he can be a stud in that offense...I would deal him for sure for Graham...and to be honest...I'd probably deal Martin for him as well...
but I'd start with Lynch.
Thanks for the help...

I am with the other on this take that trade. I loved Lynch last year he won my my league pretty much (picked him up off waivers a week before he got hot last year.) but Lynch isnt going to produce as much this year he is coming off injury that still bugging him and he got paid. More often then not these RB get their pay day and stop producing as much.
Also start Cutler over Luck for week 2. He is playing the Packers, he is going to get a lot of points.
I agree with the prior comments. I think Graham will be the #1 TE THIS YEAR AND MCGAHEE will be fine at ur flex or u could start one of ur wr's if necessary. Also, I agree with the other about Cutler, he will be a top 6 QB imo this year as long as Marshall stays healthy and his O-line keeps him upright....
I'd ship doug martin. he's still a rookie. lynch is a proven commodity. that's the kind of thing you want in your flex spot. doug martin has some bad games in front of him.
that being said, i wouldnt trade graham for those guys unless i had a solid TE to back him up.
I would definitely do the trade and I guess I am in the minority, but I would trade martin... Lynch is still more valuable then martin at this point in time.
Well I would look at averages + upside + safe. These are not actual numbers just hypotheicals. Say Graham avg 14ppg and has a huge big game potential, plays 14 games. Lynch avg 9, med big game potential but might only play 9 or 10 games. So as long as your fill in averages more than 5pts for more than say 10 games I'd call you the winner of that trade!
Thanks for the help!
QB D. Brees RB A. Peterson === A. Morris, M. Bush, M. LeShoure, A. Green, R. Jennings WR P. Harvin, B. W. Welker,=== D. Amendola FLX TE J. Graham === A. Hernandez, K. Rudolph K G. Zuerlein
I dont think I would do this one. I think your just leaving yourself too short at RB.
I know you can't bank on injuries but there is no way graham makes it through the year this year if brees keeps sending him down the middle over lb's and infront of safties. He has had back problems in the past and im pretty sure these safties are just gonna start drilling him in the back on these routes. If there was a prop that will Jimmy Graham miss multiple weeks this season due to injurey I would say YES
