I am trying to trade Kevin smith before week 2, as I expect him to not do so well against SF, and the LeShore comes back...

What is his value.

Straight up, what area would I expect to get someone to bite? Trade him straight up for Reggie Wayne?
Chris Johnson?
Harvin?

I wouldn't expect anywhere near that value. Most people will want to see at least another game before dealing good value. I would be selling smith if I had him so I wouldn't really give much for him
