Noob question about bye weeks

Okay this is my first year playing FF (and im enjoying it very much so far) but my question is, I drafted just 1 kicker and 1 defense like alot of people do. But what about when my kicker and Def. get to there bye week, then what do I do? just drop them and hope I can get them back for next week before anyone else picks them up? what are your guys advise?

Kickers not only vary from year to year but from week to week - normally you should drop your kicker and find one as good on the WW. Depending on who your Def is you may want to keep them and drop a player on your bench who isn't performing and grab another Def (and dump them the following week) - if your Def is average you may wanna drop them for the bye week if there's a Def of equal value on the WW.

Who do you have at K & Def and who are the top ones on your WW?

DEF is Texans and K is Alex Henery

Yeah, drop Henery and grab a decent replacement with a good matchup. HOU is a good Def and prob worth holding onto - hopefully you have someone you can dump and grab a Def with a good matchup (what Def's are available?).

I like to have two defenses in my lineup because that is one that you definitely want to play the matchups for. But yeah, you should be able to pick up another one pretty easily.
