Basically, If I am understanding correctly Welker was just not part of the overall game plan. I have also understood that Hernandez will be getting a lot more targets this year. Once LLoyd proves his worth there go more target. Lastly Welker is on a contract year and the Pats track record is to phase out going players who they probably wont re-sign. Thats just me though I could be way off on that.Oh and I have LLoyd on my team also. Any werds. Line up time, Always Help in Return just drop a link! Thanks in advance.

I'd do it. Pats have a better defense this year. Bears defense is overrated. Chicago homer here. Urlacher's knee is hurt. They will be forced to pass a lot this year - a lot of shootouts. Welker has a lot more competetion than Marshall, Gronk, A Hern, Ridley, Lloyd. Marsahalls' only downside is the Bears terrible o-line. If Cutler gets hurt Marshall will struggle. Brady has a better chance of staying healthy. i'd still prefer Marshall. Please help with mine.
NE might prefer to phase Welker out. But, the bottom line is WINNING! NE won't hesitate to utilize Welker if it means it will get them the W. With that said though, NE has tons of weapons. Chicago, on the other hand, got Marshall because what they had previously wasn't getting the job done. I would expect that Marshall would get you more consistency throughout the year whereas Welker will be all over the board.

Funny I have both of them picking them up with the 28 and 29th picks. I Picked up Marshall first. I picked up Welker second as an afterthought, cause it is a ppr league.
Marshall will have the better year.....That being said, I am not worried about Welkers production. New England puts in very different game plans where different guys are utilized. I wouldn't be surprised if Welker gets 100 yards and a TD in the coming week or two.
