Demaryius Thomas Too Much To Give Up for Spiller? WHIR

Postby war106 » Wed Sep 12, 2012 7:53 pm

I just got offered C.J. Spiller for Demaryius Thomas. I think this is too much to give up, considering Fred Jackson could be back within a month. What do you guys think? Here are the specifics:

This is a 12 team, .5 PPR TOTAL POINTS League.

Here is my starting lineup:

QB: Brees, Russell Wilson (We start 2)
WR: Roddy White, Jordy Nelson, Demaryius Thomas (We start 3)
RB: Ryan Matthews, Alfred Morris (We start 2)
TE: AAron Hernandez
W/R Peyton Hillis
W/T Torrey Smith

Bench:
Jonathan Dwyer
Dexter McCluster
Mikel Leshoure
Mark Ingram
Tim Tebow
Greg Olsen

If I say no to this trade, can you give me a counter offer that would be in my favor? The team that offered it really needs WR. Thanks guys.

Normally, I wouldn't do it, but you need help at RB imo.

I would do this trade, and then sign a free agent WR

I wouldn't do it - once fjax is back it won't be pretty and if your league is PPR i'd be starting mccluster over hillis

Looks like a fair trade value wise, but you can't really afford to give up Thomas, as you have no real depth at WR. You're good at RB for now with Morris starting now and Ingram/Leshoure in reserve. and who knows what will happen when FJax comes back. if he goes back to a smaller role you would lose on this deal.

Agree with the majority here...I would love that trade a lot more if you more WR depth
