Need a Def.! Who to drop? WHIR!

Postby enasnidx » Thu Sep 13, 2012 4:17 pm

I played Detroit D last week as a matchup play and dropped them to pick up Randall Cobb. Now I need to pickup a new Def. I'm trying to trade a couple guys to get a reliable Def. If my trade offer doesn't go through, who would you drop to pick up a team D?

Thanks. WHIR!

10 team PPR format:

1. Drew Brees, Darren McFadden, DeMarco Murray, Ahmad Bradshaw, Trent Richardson, David Wilson, Donald Brown, Jacquizz Rodgers, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Jeremy Maclin, Miles Austin, Randall Cobb, Greg Olsen, Jason Hanson, Ben Roethlisberger

I say Jacquizz easily. Everyone is high on him for some reason and I just don't buy it (I am a huge Falcons fan btw). I love Jacquizz as a fan but at the moment he is not a reliable fantasy option and I don't see him becoming one for the rest of the season really. There are simply too many mouths to feed in the ATL and so td's and yardage will be tough to find for little Quizz.

help with mine?

I would drop Antonio Brown. He is bench depth and there should be plenty of WR help in free agency for a 10-team league if you need a fill-in later on.

Drop Quizz. He's got a great future but with the crazy RB depth you're not likely to need him. In a keeper/deeper league, I might say otherwise.

Drop the Quizzness or Cobb.

I guess Jacquizz it may have to be. This actually is a keeper league so I was hoping to keep him and Cobb around with high hopes for next year as well. Hmmm....

The two best Def. options available are Giants and Bengals.

I'm going to disregard the Antonio Brown suggestion.
