hey guys so my team is in my sig... its .5 ppr
im wondering if I should trade my forte for julio jones. I feel like i have more than enough runningbacks and I could obtain arguably the second best wr in fantasy football.
I know giving up forte is a lot but do you think it would strengthen my team?
I feel like forte losing carries and touchdowns to bush is going to be an annoyance all year.

I'd do it. Afterwards, I'd see if I could package one of my rbs and a wr, or cutler and a rb/wr, some combination to see if I can land a stud running back like maybe AP or Murray if I can't get one of the top three. But, yes I'd do the deal. .5ppr limits the upside of someone like forte.
answer mines please:

Thanks for the help with mine. I would probably do it just based off your RB depth alone. The Law Firm made me a believer that he can be an every down sort of back by running all over that Raven's D.

I would, Julio is an absolute stud. I would however see if they would take a lesser RB and a WR first.

You have good RB depth with Lynch, BGJE, Ridley and Tate. I would take Julio then try and package some sort of WR/RB/QB combo to try and grab another RB that you can use.

My thoughts exactly. I'd still do the trade, but see if he'd take a lesser RB combo'd with a WR, I'd try for that 1st.
Thanks for the help with mine.

Thanks for the help. Your decision may have been made for you tonight. Forte just got hurt with an ankle injury so you may not be able to sell him at all. If his injury is not too serious, you may have to hang on to him to get good value for him. Otherwise, you could try to trade Ridley and a WR for Jones depending on how bad the other guy needs a RB and how many RB's you start. Now you may need to consider that you won't be able to start Forte depending on the extent of his injury. I would try to sell high on Ridley if you can. He will continue to have good games, but there will games that Brady throws all game too, limiting Ridley's value as an every week starter. Besides, can you really see yourself starting him?
