This is my first year playing fantasy football and I have a question. What is the latest I can wait to make depth charts changes before the game? Like can I make a change this friday and it apply for sundays game or do all changes need to be made before the first game of the week is played?

Typically yes, but it depends on how the league is set up by the commish. It should say somewhere on the league site. What service are you using?

I am playing on the nfl dot com(I can't post urls) one. I looked at the setting and it says Roster Lock type: Gametime ( I am guessing this is what I am looking for?) What does that mean?

I'll explain gametime lock with the following example.

So if there is thursday night game, naturally you're going to make the roster moves for the players involved in that thursday game before kickoff. Don't worry about the Sunday games b/c those games won't be locked until their game start times. So you can wait till sat night or sunday morning to make roster changes for sunday and monday games.

So with your league settings, you don't have to make all your roster moves all on one day.
You can test this out right now since the thurs night game has passed. You should be able to make roster moves for the sunday and monday night games.
