Fair Trade? WHIR

Postby archie814 » Fri Sep 14, 2012 9:36 am

A team in my league lost Fred Jackson and is asking the rest of the league for a RB.

My RB's/WR's. in a standard scoring league. 12 teams (Starters in bold)

RB: CJ, DMC, SJax, Daniel Thomas, Mendy
WR: Jordy, Austin, M Floyd, Britt, M Williams

He has Richardson, Tate, Redman, and Fred Jackson
WR: Fitz, White, Amendola, S Rice

I was thinking about offering SJax and Malcolm Floyd for Roddy White and Fred Jackson. I would take the hit with Jackson being out for 4 weeks, but in the mean time I could just flex Roddy essentially. Two questions. 1) Is it fair? and 2) Is it worth it for me to offer this?

you could offer that, but i don't think he'd do it. malcolm floyd is a huge downgrade from roddy white. what if you offered chris johnson for roddy white?

I would do that trade but like the previous poster said he might not bite. It wouldn't hurt to offer the trade, but if he rejects I would consider Chris Johnson for Roddy White. I wasn't a fan of Johnson's going into the season and I think he showed the danger of his game. He is a homerun runner and either has a big week or nothing. Go with the most consistent WR in the NFL in a high-powered offense.
