WHO WINS THIS TRADE? QUICK 1 : WHIR!!!

Postby MAXIMIS » Fri Sep 14, 2012 11:33 am

TEAM A: ELI MANNING, ERIC DECKER
TEAM B: PHILIP RIVERS, WILLIS MCGAHEE

NON PPR.... QB SCORING = 6 PTS PER PASSING TD, 1 PT PER 50yds

I'm one of these teams. Base reply solely on quality of players. Thanks!

First off, go Browns.

This is a pretty fair trade in my opinion. I'd give the slight edge to team B.
Reasons: I like Rivers better than Eli this year (among the minority). And Decker is nice, but McGahee is more valuable b/c he is a starting RB.

I think it's team A. Decker has high upside with peyton throwing it to him. Rivers didn't look good last week and i'm not sure he's going to be back without anyone to really throw the ball to. i'd say mcgahee and eli are a push.

help with mine?

No way to know who "wins" unless we see the rest of the roster. All things being equal, I like Manning and Decker better. But if you are rolling with Kevin Smith as your RB2, you'd be better off with McGahee and Rivers.

Its even. I cant tell you who wins unless I know how bad the need at WR or RB for the 2 teams

Yeah I know about the roster issue .... both teams win in this trade just seeing opinion on who got the better deal rosters aside... That's why I asked about "quality of players" overall. BUT .... To further divulge.....

Start 2 RB, 2 WR and a RB/WR Flex

Team A:
QB Rivers
RB: Ryan Mathews, Trent Richardson, Marshawn Lynch, Willis McGahee, Alfred Morris
WR: Mike Wallace, Malcom Floyd, Kenny Britt, Justin Blackmon, Danny Amendola
(gives Rivers & McGahee, Gets Manning, Decker)

Team B:
QB: Stafford, Eli Manning
RB: Matt Forte, DeAngelo Williams, Shane Vareen
WR: Julio Jones, Miles Austin, Eric Decker, Sydney Rice, James Jones
(Gives Manning, Decker, Gets McGahee, Rivers)

It ends up being a good deal for both teams. Really Even I think the side getting Rivers and Mcgahee wins. They have more of a need at RB than the other team does at WR. I like Rivers slightly less than Manning though. Overall both teams made a deal that really improves their team

That is a fair trade. The quality of players is essentially equal. It really depends on team needs whether this trade is better for one team over the other.

Help?
