Will Antonio Gates play sunday?

Do you guys think Antonio Gates will start this sunday against the Titans or do you think his rib injury will keep him out of the game? The only other option I have at TE right now is Dennis Pitta. What do you guys think?

He practiced today and will start on Sunday.

"Gates (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans after being limited in practice Friday."

Antonio Gates (questionable, ribs) returned to Chargers practice Friday, albeit on a limited basis.
Gates got two days off after banging his ribs in the second game of Monday night's double-dip. He returned to the contest and should be fine to start against the Titans. Mike Clay and Chris Wesseling have Gates as the No. 5 tight end. Sep 14 - 2:41 PM

It's a major surprise. Without Gates and Ryan Mathews (collarbone), the Chargers' offense is handcuffed. Randy McMichael will start at tight end, but he's a weak play for fantasy owners. In the four games that Gates missed last year, McMichael averaged just 3.0 catches for 27.7 yards with no touchdowns. What sucks is the Chargers don't have a productive back up. McMichael is good for maybe 3 points.

So what do you guys think about week 3? Will Gates be back up and runnning? I have Dennis Pitta on the bench but I could also get Mercedes Lewis out of free agency.
