this is a really tough one. the good news is, you can't really make a bad move. Romo's weapons are all reported to feel a lot better than last week, so he should give a solid performance. Manning & the Denver receiver squad is also getting better with every drive, just take a look at the final drive against the Steelers last week. However RGIII could boom like he did last week but we could also see him bust. If you haven't got a too strong opponent and you do not need every single point that you can get, start Romo & RGIII. But beaware, that RGIII could possibly leave you with less points than manning does! If you need to relie on your QB's to earn some points, go with Romo & Manning. Just my 2 cents.
Manning at ATL is a lock. Their defense is just too porous, and Manning's just too good to bench.
That leaves Griffin vs Romo: I'm going Romo over RG3 by only a hair, but consider it a vote of confidence for a very underrated Seahawks secondary. When Romo has to make the tough plays, he tends to wilt and become very average. Couple that with the Seahawks lackluster run D, and I think D.Murray is the Cowboy to have this week, with Ogletree possibly getting paydirt. Meanwhile, RG3's top receiver is limping around, and behind Garcon/Moss/Davis, there's very little help. I see both having sub-par efforts this week, but Romo's talented core around him makes him the safer play to me.
Tough on. Peyton and Romo is the safe play, but RG3 is tempting against STL. I'm usually inclined to wait on a guy after a breakout performance, until he shows he can repeat it. If he does, you will miss out on a big week, but your consolation is still Peyton and Romo, so you're in good shape anyway. I'd sit RG3 for now. Good luck!
I would go with Romo and Manning. I think the match up RG3 has with STL is tougher than ppl realize. They have an improved DEF this year and the team RG3 had his big performance against the Saints have been poor on DEF recently.
All 3 were impressive last week and all 3 are on the road this week.
I'm going with Romo and Manning. Witten should be healthier and that gives Romo more options. Manning is Manning (at least he looked like him last week) and you can at least count on a minimum of 22 points. The wildcard is RGIII. As a rookie on the road and in a dome, I expect that he will have trouble adjusting. Plus, Garcon could be out. That could lead to a horrendous stat line.
You should start Peyton for sure against ATL. This game will likely become a shoot out. Two great QBs going heads up. Manning looking better everyday. I'm not high on Romo this week. This Seahawks defense in much improved and they've added players in they're pass rush game in the off season to go along with their already pro bowl secondary. Yes, this secondary is that good. Romo will struggle. Also, it is always touch in play in Seattle with the fans and jet lag. I don't think RGIII's week 1 performance was a fluke either. He looked like a seasoned vet. Excellent accuracy, decision making and pocket presence.
I'd go Manning and RGIII on the notion that Romo has a difficult matchup.
12 Team 1.0 PPR (2-2) QB: Newton, Wilson RB: CJ2K, T. Richardson, D. Brown, M. Bush WR: J. Jones, Lloyd, Blackmon, Hartline TE: Finley D: 49ers
