Who should I start at the flex week two in my 10 team standard scoring league? 1qb, 2wr, 2rb, 1 flex, 1 te, 1def
I'm starting AP and CJ in the rb spot. and already played marshall and nelson in the wr. Not sure about who I should start in the flex. I'm leaning towards Sproles, but I also like welker and decker. Also, I'm not entirely sold on CJ. Some help here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Welker, Sproles, or Decker? CJ to stat in RB?
QB: Peyton Manning RB: AP, CJ, Sproles, Donald Brown WR: Brandon Marshall, Jordy Nelson, Welker, Eric Decker TE: Fred Davis
12 Team 1.0 PPR (2-2) QB: Newton, Wilson RB: CJ2K, T. Richardson, D. Brown, M. Bush WR: J. Jones, Lloyd, Blackmon, Hartline TE: Finley D: 49ers
i would go with decker personally, brady always has plenty of targets to throw to especially his tightends and lloyd. Decker was Mannings top target all pre-season, he was a high target last week but the catches were just difficult to bring in unlike for thomas, thats why he ranked more points, but against a titans Defense you better believe Decker will be getting quite a few targets. Sproles is a toss up because between Ingram and Thomas, sproles does not run the ball so your relying on him just to be apart of the passing game again when Brees has Graham, Colston, and lance moore to throw to. Tough competition, hope this helps
I would definitely keep C. Johnson as your starting RB. I'm worried about him, but you can't sit him for any of your other options.
At flex, I believe it comes down to E. Decker or D. Sproles. I would give the edge to E. Decker although both should have relatively good weeks. P. Manning was extremely limited in possession time last week and E. Decker should receive a lot more looks this week.
Thanks for the help, I would also go with Decker. He received 7 targets last week of Mannings 26 passing attempts for 27% Welker received 5 targets to Bradys 31 attempts = 16% Sproles did not rush the ball at all and received 8 targets to Brees's 49 attempts = 16%
The Broncos are also going against ATL this week which gave up 241 passing yards week 1 to the Chiefs who aren't really known for a great passing offense. Manning is going to exploit the hell out of this and Decker should benefit greatly.
I'm apparently the only one here, but I like Welker to really bounce back from a horrendous week 1. With all the weapons NE has and the emergence of Ridley, Brady will find a way to get him the ball. Go with Welker.
