There we go Danny! Surprised they didn't find a way to take that one away too.

Jackson has been benched because he spiked the ball to draw an unsportsmanlike penalty in the second quarter. The refs had appeared to job him out of a TD, and he lost his cool. He's on the sideline and it doesn't appear like he has his helmet. It was a real positive development for me and my two leagues where I started him. He was averaging 6.4 YPC and that's including two cracks at the goal line where he wasn't given a yard.

He was playing well until an unsportsmanlike penalty, and I haven't heard anything about him since then.

The way his replacement is playing, Sjax may have screwed himself out of a starting job. At the least he probably screwed himself into a time share. :(

Also worth noting that the only effect that the penalty had was to turn an 18 yard FG into a 33 yard FG. That is unless Fisher had wanted to go for it on 4th and Goal from the 1 - where St. Louis had just been stonewalled on the same down and distance TWICE.

Richardson just fumbled the ball back to Washington to give them life. I hope Washington wins it right here. Know who doesn't lose fumbles? Steven Jackson.

He had already lost one today didn't he?
Anyway, Fisher got saved by a bonehead penalty. I can understand benching Jackson for the rest of the quarter but benching him for the rest of the game just to prove a point is stupid.

Jackson did not lose a fumble. The referees incorrectly ruled a fumble when he was down, which was the play before he spiked it. Might've helped contribute to his frustration because the refs were morons.
