Olsen has a juicy matchup vs the Saints and Kevin Smith plays a very tough 49ers defence.

I would almost never start a TE over a RB in this spot but I'm VERY tempted to.

I would go with Smith even though he has a tough match-up. I think he should see around 15-20 touches this week.

I would go with Smith for sure. He is still basically the only RB the lions have right now and they will have to try to run the ball and he has shown he will get catches too

yeah, I don't see how you could start Olsen over Smith. Olsen looked like he had a juicy matchup last week too and didn't do much. No way I would start a TE that maxes out at about 6 catches over a RB that will get 20+.

Smith. Stafford will have to dump off a lot, so Smith will likely see even more throws than he did last week. That's a good thing. Olsen could see 10 passes, he might catch 7-8. He might even get a TD. But he's not going to be as involved in the scheme nearly as much as Smith will.
