PPR League. 1 pt. per 20 yards receiving.

Pick 1:
DJAx vs BAL
S. Holmes at PIT
D. Moore at MIA

WW: Lafell vs NO.

I would have to drop Moore or Helu if I were to pick up Lafell. But, my gut tells me that Lafell is the best play. S. Smith hurting. NO gave up 40+ last week. Djax is hurt, bad matchup. Holmes is not a horrible start.

Advice? leave links. WHIR

I think Moore is an interesting play this week but it is risky. I think lafell will have a good year as Newtons #2 receiver. I think Jackson (injury) and Holmes (bad matchup) are bad plays. You have to go with your gut between Moore (high risk/reward) and Lafell (low risk/reward)

I would go DJax. I just do not like the other 2 at all. Thanks for your help.

I'd say LaFell, simply because he's going to have a lot of chances to be open and Carolina will be throwing a lot.

Holmes is risky because Pittsburgh is going to maul the Jets O-Line. Sanchbow won't have a chance to throw.

Moore is risky because Palmer has too many options, in particular DMC.

DJax is risky because did you see Baltimore's defense last week? Did you see what Cleveland did to Philly? Do you know how many light years beyond Cleveland the Ravens D is?

I'd say LaFell

Djax.

Holmes is decent, but tough matchup. You never know with him either. He's really inconsistent. Moore is a good backup, wr, but not starter worthy yet. He still has a lot to prove before I would consider starting him. I would pickup Lafell and drop Helu. Lafell is a good second wideout in carolina and more versitile than Smith. Not a fan of Helu either. Too many rbs on that team fighting for carriers. Morris looks like the starter and Royster the backup. You could be right in thinking Lafell will have a huge game against a sloppy secondary, but that's too risky of play, especially in week 2.

Play Djax, alothough banged up, he's guarenteed to see a few balls thrown his way and could break one of a huge gain. Djax is the smart play here!

RB: CJ2K, T. Richardson, D. Brown, M. Bush
WR: J. Jones, Lloyd, Blackmon, Hartline

I'd go with Djax if you know he's going to start. If not then LaFell would be a good option. Like you said Steve Smith isnt feeling 100% and you know Carolina will be throwing the ball. He should get lots of targets against a Saints defense that got tore up against a similar style QB week 1.

I also like Lafell. Smith is banged up, and playing the Saints will be a shootout. I REALLY like Brandon this week. Start him with confidence.

I would definitely got with DeSean Jackson. He might not be the same receiver he was a couple of years ago, but I still think he has the biggest potential fantasy production out of the three by far. They will probably try several trick plays against that tough Raven's defense involving him.

I'd not start Moore, he's coming off an injury and did not play a snap in the preseason.
I'd not start Holmes, even if it is against an old Steelers defense

Jackson is still the biggest threat IMO, but his hamstring injury is a concern...
Lafell vs NO is a good matchup, but the injury to Steve Smith has been slightly exaggerated...

I'd go with Lafell based on the fact that it will be a high scoring game against a weak secondary. I don't know your RB situation, but I would drop Helu, he's 3rd in line in a crowded backfield and with Shanahan, he'll be a high risk when/if you do play him.

Thanks for your reply
