Dez or Harvin? and Martin or Murray? PPR no flex 100% WHIP!

Postby Footballfev » Sat Sep 15, 2012 5:42 pm

I'm in a 10 team ppr league and I'm not quite sure who I should start at second receiver and second running back. I'm leaning towards Murray and Harvin. Murray looked good in first game and Harvin will get me tons of receptions. There is no flex in this league, just 2 rbs and 2 wrs.

qb: brees
rb: forte, murray, martin
wr: marshall, dez, harvin

%100 WHIP
12 Team 1.0 PPR (2-2)
QB: Newton, Wilson
RB: CJ2K, T. Richardson, D. Brown, M. Bush
WR: J. Jones, Lloyd, Blackmon, Hartline
TE: Finley
D: 49ers

whew. that is tough. I definitely like Harvin over Dez in PPR.

But, the other is very tough. Murray is about my favorite RB to own right now. But, that matchup is pretty bad. And, Martin's is very good.

I think I would have to say Martin. But, I don't feel great about it.

Murray. He shredded the Seahawks last year and he looked superb against the Giants.

Harvin. I think he will see far more looks than Dez, plus the Colts D let Jay freakin' Cutler pick them apart, Christian Ponder is probably as good as Cutler.

I agree with the above poster, Harvin is a no-brainer. However, the RB choice is almost a toss up. I'm leaning towards Martin. He will get a heavy workload and I'm betting for a better game then week 1.

Harvin and Murray. Murray is a very good RB and I think Dallas will have the lead in the 2nd half and run the ball plenty.

good luck

I think I definetly like both your WR options, not sure you can go wrong. I'd choose Harvin as he will see some good action, and they do put him in the backfield as well.

For the RBs, I think it's closer. I think I'd go with Murray though. As good as the Seahawks defense is, Murray shredded them last year. Like a previous poster said, he looked good against the giants, and I think his performance was largely overlooked. Martin had a nice game, but I'm not sure he's going to be nearly as effective against the Giants as Murray was.

Help with mine?
