Who should i start as my flex?

Postby phanatic10 » Sat Sep 15, 2012 7:45 pm

Who should i start as my flex, Micheal Turner or Brandon Lloyd? People have been telling me to start Brandon Lloyd but as of right now i have Turner in.. Im scared to start Turner this week after last weeks 3pts but im also scared to bench him and then have a huge week. So what do you guys think? ( Wide receivers and Running Backs score the same in my league, 1pt for every 10 yards and 6 pts for Touchdown) Turner is playing the broncos who have a pretty good run defense and Lloyd is playing the cardinals who have allowed over 150 yards and 2 Touchdowns to Lloyd in his last two games.. I appreciate any help you can give.

Tough decision. Personally I'm not a big fan of Turner. He has a lot of upside, but he hasn't done anything to prove it as of recent. The new look Falcons are throwing the ball a lot more and utilizing Jaquizz in many sets. Don't think Turner will get much action this week. I really like Lloyd against the Cardinals. Lloyd got plenty of targets last week and there is no reason to believe he won't continue to see more of the same. The caridinals will be occupied with NE's monster TEs running all over the place and I think Lloyd will find the endzone.

My Other starting wide receivers are Stevie Johnson and Marques Colston, Do you think i should sit one of them and start Lloyd in there place or are you just thinking turner isnt gonna do much and to sit him? thanks

Of your recievers I would rank Lloyd number 1 and Colston number 2. Lloyd is seeing a lot of action and McDaniels really seems to like this guy. This guy will be used much like how they used Randy Moss a few years back. Colston is an excellent receiver and Brees' favorite target. He will continue to see a lot of targets and has a really good matchup against Panther which I think will be a very high scoring game. Stevie Johnson is also a vialbe start in most fantasy leagues. With nelson out for the season, I think he'll have more production. The Falcons also torched the KC secondary last week.

I would sit Turner this week. Only 11 attempts last... he did not impress.
