Pitta or Bennett? ** WHIR **

Pretty much seen enough of Fred Davis, the skins clearly do not plan on encorporating him heavily in the offense for whatever reason. Who would you choose between Pitta and Bennett in a ppr? Leaning towards Pitta as he seems to be getting more targets and is a definite red zone threat, not to say Bennett is not, but he seems to see fewer targets. Thing that worries me is the possibility of Dickson taking some looks from Pitta, though that has not been the case so far.

Pitta 13/138/1 for 32 fantasy points
Bennett 9/112/2 for 32 fantasy points

I'm in the same boat!

I'm going after Bennett. Manning uses his TE, and nicks seems like he is bound to miss some time.

Also, in PPR Brandon Myers, oak is someone to keep tabs on. He's caught 11 balls in 2 games.Could become a decent option in oakland.

Scott Chandler caught another TD for buffalo. With no Nelson, maybe he gets more catches his year.

Bump, need more opinions, it is ppr and watched the replay of the ravens, pitta had a few that Flacco just couldn't get it to him. Everyone during the preseason were saying that Dickson would be the guy between the 20's and pitta would be the redzone guy, seems now more like pitta is just the guy. Also rewarched the giants, Bennett could have easily had another score. And as someone said in another thread, with Nicks and Cruz, Bennett will be open.

Normally I would just go with who has the better QB, but pitta has been seeing an avg of 12 targets a game!

Seems like you also should look at history of how those teams use the TE"s. Both use them of course, but giants and Eli use them more I would think. Flacco had a great first game (for him), but still was sub 300 and 2 td's if I"m not mistaken. Just not in Eli's league (or at least he is not in the league Eli thinks he's in!). I'd go Bennett and feel a lot better about it than Pitta. Good luck.

Bennett isn't fighting any other TE's for targets. And is a RZ threat.

I'd buy Bennett over pitta personally, and I'm in the same exact dilemma as you.

A touchdown is worth 6...a receptions worth 1.

I would lean towards Bennett as well. Those Manning boys love their TE's!

Very true, I think it's Bennett, though if I end up with pitta due to waiver priority i think I'll be okay with it.

i would go for bennett. for more often then not rice will eat up all the offenseive yardage for the ravens.
eli loves to sling it and will give bennett more td opportunities than will flacco

Bennett without a doubt, he's has potential to reach tier 2 TE status.
