I have a bunch of feelers out there right now where I am wanting to upgrade my depth at RB. I have Matthews and Martin who are my clear starters (when matthews is healthy). And then I have K.Smith, Dwyer, Hillis.
Questions are: -Is K.Smith gonna continue to be a worthy play once LeShoure is in there? I have an offer for me to trade Smith for M.Bush straight up. Thoughts? Should I make it a bigger trade? He also has AP, Nicks, Cruz, Harvin, Ben Tate, F.Jax... My lineup is below. -I also have possibilities to maybe trade for mendenhall so that I can have whichever pitt back is getting the time. How would Smith compare to Mendy? -Should I just stick with what I have right now?
Any thoughts appreciated. And of course, WHIR.

I would seriously consider the bush/smith trade... forte will be gone for 4-6 weeks... and Bush was already vulturing goal line touches. Kevin smith is on a pass first team where mikeal leshoure and at some point jahved best will come back, so yeaaah
i'd definitely want bush over ksmith. the lions RB situation is always a mess and bush will play for at least the next month. he already scores from the goal line enough and has always played crazy good when given the chance to start. i'd pull the trigger on that.
Awesome. Thanks to both of you. Would you say then leave the rest of my lineup for now? Maybe even after bush has some big games, I can then look to flip him before Forte is back...

^^^ I agree. K. smith looks good but Mikel will most likely share touches if not replace him entirely. Mich.ael Bush is your best bet in the meantime, all those goal like touches make him a great pick up for the next month or more.

i would def take bush over smith. u dont only have to worry about leshoure coming back but k smith is injury prone. bush already vultures td from forte to be reliable flex play and now cause of the injury to forte its going to be like wen mcfadden was injured last year
latest word is Lions worked out Ryan Grant and plus they get Leshoure back so it doesn't sound good for Smith,I would do the Bush trade for sure especially with Forte out
"Again, we finished among the league leaders in offense this past year" - Jason Garrett 2/13/13 SMFH
oh crap... take Bush before he realizes how stupid that offer was!
Smith is good but he'll be sharing a backfield big time when Leshoure is back because Leshoure is better at running between the tackles and the Lions for whatever reason LOVE to cram the ball up there all game on first and second down, even when it clearly isn't working (as evidenced last night).
The Lions are reportedly taking another look at Ryan Grant also.
Bush just showed you what he's made of. Take that and don't look back.
What are your thoughts on mcgahee or mendenhall? Should I let my team rest as is right now?

McGahee is a good flex play depending on the matchup and unfortunately my magic 8 ball doesn't tell me much when I ask about Mendenhall.
I expect him to return soon and he'll need to show something big in order to prevent Dwyer from dipping into his touches... which I'd wager is possible but not something I'm going to say is extremely likely. It's a toss up. As of right now I don't think there's going to be many people seeking him out via trade or being all the willing to give up much for him. *IF* he comes out big, you might get some decent trade value out of him.
