I am a worried, worried, worried Welker owner. I am thinking of offering a trade to the highest bidder. One team has R. White, M. Floyd, A. Brown, and Crabtree.
Crabtree and Brown were on the bench this week. What are your feelings on trying to trade Welker, and how much would you expect in return? Should I try to get some depth back too, or straight up deal?
I honestly think you will start to see Welker pick it up next week with Hernandez out. I would try to shop him after a good week though, because in the long haul I don't think he is going to be as productive as some of the other star wideouts. I would look to move him for a little better WR than Brown though.
like said before wait till welker can string together some good games. new england was looking to phase him out of the offense since he will demand a large amount of cash in free agency and we all now that new england NEVER pays full retail price. but i digress now welker will be a huge part of the offense again. atleast till hernandez comes back if he can put good b2b games the next weeks sell high
Keep Welker, he is a PPR monster, and will pick it up. He's still a vocal point, and his opportunities will grow without Aaron. Brown battles with Wallace for TD's and balls. I'd hold off.
I'm not high on Welker this year. NE is changing their offensive look, although it may not be smart. They are using Lloyd as the primary receiver and a deep threat and running gronk and hernandez all over the place. Welker was on the sideline in many sets, he's clearly not getting as many plays as years past. Having Hernandez out will definitely help with Welker's production, but you should dump in ASAP.
You should offer Welker for A. Brown + low end second rb or A. Brown + Crabtree.
