With the news that Michael Turner received a DUI last night, does this mean its time for Jacquizz Rodgers to shine?

Is there a precedent in the league for benching players for infractions like these?

Michael Turner's Tuesday morning DUI is his first offense of the league's substance-abuse policy.
The usual penalty for a first-time offense is a fine once a player pleads guilty. As Marshawn Lynch has shown, lawyers can delay that guilty plea until after the season. The only way Turner will be facing an eventual suspension is if the league deems there are "aggravating circumstances." Although he was driving 97 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone, that appears unlikely.
