Is it too early to give up on Cutler? He's my backup to Cam Newton. Both have a bye in week 6.

Hard to say. I've been reading a lot of praise about A. Smith. He is improving every week and really starting to connect with his receivers. I would say A. Smith is the best option of the 3 if you decide to drop Cutler.

Don't give up on Cutler yet. He had a good enough week 1 to keep him on your roster through week 3. Think of it as a best of three scenario right now he is 1-1 next week will be the deciding game.

They might but the chances that he ends up better than Cutler are slim enough that it isn't worth it yet. Especially just for a backup.
