I would trade his ass. I was avoiding him like the plague during the draft as a high risk player, and the dude looks like a total sandbag. It's something of a risk maybe if you think his stock is going to climb (which I obviously don't). You will never start him with confidence. Starting Chris Johnson is the Fantasy equivalent of rolling a ziplock bag of expensive vomit onto the field. Welker should see more balls with Hernandez going down, and IS someone you can slide into your starting lineup and feel pretty safe about.

I would definitely do that trade (assuming you start only 2 RBs like a normal league). CJ is not near the player he was when he rushed for 2,000 yds. That mixed with the fact that the Titans will be behind a bunch early in games this year, should scare you away from CJ. As much as I hate to sell so low on a player, I think Welker is by far the best return you will get from him.

Help me out if you get a chance: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=521080

Thanks!

Ultimately it's your call. The only reason Johnson has any value is because of the position he plays. Although I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Javon Ringer or Jaime Harper ends up taking Johnsons job. It's harder to find a starting RB than a starting WR. The Titan's offense sucks, and their defense sucks. Their Oline sucks, and their starting RB apparently also sucks.

That being said (especially now that Hernandez is gone), it's a pretty good bet that Welker is going to give you more points than what's his face. Flex or otherwise. If you are PPR, Welker is a no-brainer. . . . you have to just chalk it up to a crappy draft pick and make the best of it . . . happens to all of us.

I could be dead wrong here, but that's just my opinion at this point.
