Giving up too much for Megatron?? WHIR

Postby notorious623 » Wed Sep 19, 2012 10:43 am

12 team H2H Standard Scoring (no PPR)

My QBs, RBs, and WRs:

QB: Cam Newton (Matt Schaub)
RB: Ray Rice, Reggie Bush (Fred Jackson, David Wilson, Kendall Hunter)
WR: Nicks, Vincent Jackson (Heyward Bey, Titus Young, Greg Little)

I have been offered the following trade:

Calvin Johnson and Leshoure for Reggie Bush and Vincent Jackson

I feel like I should do this since it's megatron, but I would be taking a serious hit in my RB depth. If Fred Jackson comes back and does well (isn't benched for Spiller), I should be alright. That's a big if at this point though...

Should I pull the trigger on this? Leave your link and I'll help you out! Thanks guys

Also, how effective do you guys think Jackson will be when he returns in Buffalo?

If Spiller keeps this up, jackson will be no more than in a time share I believe, which is no good for anyone in fantasy.

As far as the trade...I am hesitant with overstating how much better megatron is than everyone else. He is by far the best, but I think your drop to vincent jax is far lower a drop than going from R.Bush (who I think is going to keep it goin this year) to any detroit back.

I would hold off.

What if I get him to swap in Ahmad Bradshaw for Leshoure?? I'm fine with taking a small hit in the short term assuming Bradshaw comes back. Also, I have David Wilson who I think will be the backup sooner rather than later. Still giving up too much?

I would take that trade all day and I'm a Reggie Bush owner. Leshoure may prove to be the primary back considering Smiths health record! If MIA has to play catchup, the only balls Reggie is gonna see is in the "dink and dunk" passing game. Ask yourself who you think will be in the red zone the most this year MIA or DET?

This is a very tough trade. The thoughts of megatron are very nice. But Leshoure is a question mark, who knows if he will be the leade guy.

VJ is up and down but when hes on he is a very nice WR1 and Reggie is playing like a top 5 back right now.

I would hold off as well.

Help with mine?

@kman and jberends - would you guys do the trade if I swapped Bradshaw for Leshoure? I'm assuming Bradshaw will be back next week (or at the most 2 weeks from now). He's not the best back, but at least I could be pretty certain that he's the starter when he gets back...
