Big Trade. Need Help.

Postby salrap10 » Wed Sep 19, 2012 12:49 pm

I was just offered this trade in a 10 team non ppr standard league. 1 QB 2 rbs 2 wrs 1 flex 1 te.

I get: Tom Brady, Reggie Bush, Stevie Johnson
I trade away: Arian Foster, Julio Jones, Alfred Morris

What do you guys think? I want to try and get Bush but keep Arian.

My Team:

QB: Rivers, Luck
RB: Foster, J. Charles, Morris
WR: Julio, Decker, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith, Brandon Lafell, Randall Cobb
TE: Kyle Rudolph

His Team:

QB: Brady, Schaub
RB: Reggie Bush, Shonn Greene, Roy Helu
WR: Andre Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Stevie Johnson, Holmes, Jeffery, R. Moss
TE: Gronk

I wouldn't do that trade. Arian Foster's worth more than Brady, and Julio is worth more than Stevie. So the only real upgrade you're getting is Reggie Bush for Alfred Morris. However you're losing Arian Foster so that point is moot. Tom Brady would be an upgrade over Rivers, but I don't think it'd be worth losing foster, after all I'm assuming he was a first round pick, so you should trade him for another First rounder in my opinion (not tom brady)

I sent a counter offer.

I give:

Jamaal Charles
Alfred Morris

I get:

Reggie Bush

Is this more fair?

I wouldn't panic on Charles. Reggie Bush won't do what he did against Oakland every week, he still doesn't have a good quarterback and he will see a ton of 8-man fronts. First trade you were giving up too much as well.
